Woman 'goes missing' to live with paramour

MUMBAI: A 28-year-old woman, whose husband had approached the cops after she and their child went missing from Dadar station, was traced to Bangalore where she was living with her paramour. The GRP informed the man, Ramji Paswan (35), about the whereabouts of his wife Ruby. Statements of Ruby and her paramour Mohammad Siraj Shaikh were recorded by the cops.

Ramji and Ruby were residents of Silvassa and have three kids.

"The Paswans decided to enroll their two older children into a boarding school in Bihar. Ruby took the children, including their youngest child, Raja (3), to Bihar on her own in December. She stayed there for a month," said a GRP official.

On January 12, Ruby's brother dropped her at the Gaya railway station where she boarded a train for Mumbai with her youngest son Raja. But Ramji got worried when she did not reach Silvassa on December 14.

The cops later tracked her down to Bangalore with the help of cellphone location where she was living with Shaikh.
