MYSORE: A 27-year-old software engineer from Andhra Pradesh allegedly committed suicide at his rented house in Vijayanagar 3rd stage here on Wednesday.
Cops said they have recovered a four-page death note written in Telugu.
"The couple had been fighting and Lakshminarayan was upset after his wife, Aruna, didn't answer his repeated phone calls on Wednesday morning. She had gone to her parents house in Andhra Pradesh a few days ago," police said.
On Wednesday evening, Aruna tried calling her husband back and Lakshminarayan didn't respond to it. Worried Aruna contacted her neighbour in Mysore and asked her to check if her husband was at home. The neighbour went upstairs only to find Lakshminarayan hanging from a ceiling fan.
